Fun Summer Timepieces

1.  At $40,000, this gorgeous Chevron Louis Vuitton watch is an affordable option for withstanding beach sand and saltwater. Obviously, I'm kidding. This is certainly not a timepiece accessible to the masses, but I'm sure there is a Chevron watch out there inspired by this design. <----You're clicking here to buy??? Hey, I ain't mad at ya.

2.  I am SUCH a sucker for products that allow for various looks. This Limited Edition Cecile Multifunction Fossil watch alone has a timeless design, but the multiple straps (and some being reversible) can trick you (me) into believing that it's more than one watch! -$285

You can also purchase the Fossil Women's AM4509 Cecile Multifunction Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Watch without the extra straps for $125.

3.  This turquoise beauty is perfect for the active lifestyle.  I love Nixon products, as you will see below. The Comp S reminds me of my jelly Baby-G shock from back in the day. This super light, water resistant watch is also scratch resistant and built to handle high-impact situations (ideal for someone like me who has horrible hand-eye coordination and constantly bangs my wrist into the walls). - $100

4.  AT $17.90, this Forever 21 abstract watch is a steal. What a fun way to jazz up an outfit! Also, the design is reminiscent of my weird black and white hammer pants back in the 90s...and Roger's hair.

Remember Doug?

5.  Doesn't this Swatch Limbo Dance Watch just scream SUMMER? All the tropical goodness in a cute, happy watch. - $70

Life in Pics

Talk about blast from the past on Sunday. We went to the New Kids on the Block "The Main Event Tour" featuring Nelly + TLC at Madison Square Garden.

Nelly still looking ripped.  You best believe all the ladies were doing their best Kelly Rowland impression and screaming, ", and I....need you!" Yes, including me. Because it reminds me of rolling around Atlanta in my Path Finder in the summer of 2002 having the best time of my life! (Actually, I worked at Dave + Buster's, and it was probably the worst summer ever).

TLC= still crazy sexy cool
RIP LeftEye
They got me obsessed with those satin pjs they sported in the "Creep" music video.
I'm still obsessed with Chilli's abs. #goals

My favorite eyeliners

As an Asian woman with monolids, finding the best smudge-proof eyeliner has been one of my main beauty missions.  Too many times, I've sported raccoon eyes and went out in public with liner transferred onto my upper lids.  I am pleased to say that it hasn't happened since I've found the following products:

 stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner, Intense Black* was the first liquid liner that made me feel confident about my liner... staying all day.  I stopped checking the mirror to see if my liner had migrated to other parts of my eyelid.  I loved it so much that I recommended it to my other friends.  I've had only one complaint from a friend who had been using it with no problems. But when she started putting moisturizer on her eyes before the liner, she said that the liner would come off. That has never happened to me, and I also apply moisturizer/eye cream before putting on my makeup.  I always make sure to put on an eye primer and then powder after I allow my moisturizer to absorb.  I swear those two steps are the key to my liner staying in place.  So if you have any transfer/smudging occurring with eye liners, definitely try adding those steps to your makeup regimen.

This is the eye primer I've used for years.
