Beyond the BBQ: Happy Memorial Day!

For many, today is a day equated with backyard BBQs, beach trips, and a day off from work.  For others who have had personal experiences in the military or friends/family members who are or were military personnel, today is a reminder of all that is sacrificed to allow us our freedom.

It can be quite difficult for veterans to transition back to civilian life.  And of course, when soldiers are survived by their families, that is a situation in which much support may be needed. There are various ways to help our veterans and their families: item donations, financial help, volunteer work, or a simple thank you!
