Cover that Naked iPad!

I have been enjoying my time with my iPad.  Sure, sometimes I get annoyed when I am limited in the functions and want to throw my iPad against the wall and wish I had gone back in time and gotten a Macbook Air...BUT I still appreciate this overpriced tablet. "Shh...my iPad, I didn't mean what I said. I love you."

One of my favorite things to do is to read on my iPad.  Like, ALL the time. I'm one of those obnoxious NYC pedestrians who read on the sidewalks and will inevitably get hit by a cab.

Anyway, I have a Logitech Keyboard Cover that I use, but I bought another front and back cover that makes it the iPad more accessible and is protective at the same time.

Through research on Amazon (my virtual home), I found the Union iPad 3rd generation back cover in cloudy/transparent for $19.95 sold by Devicewear. It is available in black, blue, green, navy, pink, red, smokey, and cloudy.  I got the cloudy one because it is very transparent so it keeps my iPad LOOKING like an iPad. I usually don't even cover my phones because I bought my phone because I liked the way it looked. I don't like to hide the design with some phone "condom". But I didn't want to risk ruining the iPad since it's so darn fragile and is just asking to be scratched up. So I've come to this.

This cover is super easy to take on and off, which comes in handy because I frequently switch from that to the Logitech Keyboard Cover. I am also able to place my iPad WITH the Union back cover into the Logitech Keyboard.  I would just be weary because sometimes I think the back cover being a bit wider affects the rubber lining where you put the iPad.

The look and feel of the Union is amazing. It has a nice, rubberized texture that is easy to grip. (There is a satin softness to it, like it's covered in talcum powder or something!)  There are holes for you to get to to all the ports and buttons. There is also an exposed area for your Smart Cover to magnetically attach to your iPad.

I highly HIGHLY recommend the Union back cover.  And if you don't agree with me, check out the 124 customer reviews that result in 5 stars for this product on Amazon! Link HERE

As for the front cover, I bought a Smart Cover copycat on Amazon here. I bought it for $12.98. And now it's $11.17 with 8 remaining!  That is a steal compared to Apple's $39.99 cover.  I don't know if there is a major quality difference that justifies such a cost difference, but my "Smart Cover" works for me.  It attaches onto my iPad with no problem and activates the iPad's sleep mode.  Right now, it has 4.5 stars with 4 reviews on Amazon.

I also did a video showing you the mentioned products!  Enjoy!
