So I gladly picked up an Oil of Olay Age Defying Body Wash during one of my whirlwind Target shopping trips (I live in Manhattan, so I get really giddy when I make the rare trip to the Brooklyn one).
First of all, I was impressed by the gargantuan 23.6 oz. container. The product boasts of containing two times the amount of cleansers and moisturizers - and 25% less water - than the top-selling body wash. And it is made from a gentle soap-free formula.

Secondly, I love the lather this cleanser creates. A good quarter-sized amount will result in a lovely delicious foam all over your body. Nothing makes me happier than being able to work up a full lather easily without having to continuously squeeze out more body wash. With this, I didn't have to "help myself to seconds".
The fragrance isn't too strong, but I think Oil of Olay could have done a better job with it. It smells like a cross between laundry detergent (good) and cheap, old lady perfume (bad). This combination results in a meh-that-will-do kind of effect.
The bottle states that the cleanser can be used as a shaving aid. That rich lather I mentioned above definitely could do the trick for your legs and underarms, but I would stick to actual shaving cream for your lady parts.
The main claim the Age Defying Body Wash makes is that it combats the dryness usually associated with soaps and cleansers. Preventing dryness is supposed to help decrease the look of aging skin. The body wash is also supposed to moisturize the skin for up to 24 hours.
I tend to have dry, scaly skin, which usually calls for lotion right after the shower. Not only did my skin feel hydrated after using this product, but I also didn't need to wear lotion afterward. My skin felt more smooth and soft. My skin on my legs and upper arms gets that chicken skin texture, and it really helped decrease the bumpiness.

Ok, I'm not quite at baby softness yet, but I really like what this body wash is doing to my skin. Two thumbs up!
